Kevin J DeBruin is a former NASA Rocket Scientist turned Entrepreneur starting his own Space Education & Consulting company. He is the founder of SPACE CLASS, host of A Place Called Space on YouTube, is CuriosityStream’s space expert, 2x TEDx speaker, a host on The King of Random, and author of To NASA & Beyond and To Dare Mighty Things.

Kevin shares his passion for science in a fun & easy way. Everyone can understand Kevin's teachings. All the while he showcases an active & healthy lifestyle, grit & determination and serves as a role model for kids of all ages. Kevin is not your stereotypical socially awkward nerd. He showcases his fun, goofy, smart, healthy, athletic, and charismatic attitude to educate and inspire others about space and science.

Kevin's mission is to educate and inspire as many people as possible to the wonders of space exploration and its importance to us here on Earth. Kevin worked at NASA JPL in Pasadena, CA until he fell in love with science communication. Kevin decided to leave NASA to dedicate himself to educating and inspiring others in science. He travels to South Korea each summer to teach space camp and around the world teaching kids space science. Kevin works endlessly to bring space down to Earth for the masses in a fun and exciting fashion.

Kevin’s focus at NASA was on the Europa Lander Mission Concept as a Flight Systems Engineer as well as more than 30 advanced missions concepts exploring the universe. Kevin received his Master’s of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Aerospace Systems Design Lab.

Kevin is also known as the ‘Fit Rocket Scientist’ for he is an American Ninja Warrior, certified personal trainer, and former bodybuilder.
